In 2020, as the world around us slowed, we felt a calling to speed up—trading expectations for adventure and finding magic in reconnecting with our roots and culture. What began as a journey to rediscover our heritage turned into something far greater than we could have ever imagined. Guided by curiosity and a desire to immerse ourselves in Mexico’s vibrant traditions and ancient wisdom, we set off on a path that was both personal and transformative.

Along the way, we encountered incredible souls, each leaving a mark on our story. But it was in the heart of Mexico City where our journey took a spiritual turn. We crossed paths with Huitzi, a shaman of Mayan and Zapotec heritage, whose teachings unlocked a new world for us. Through his guidance, we began to understand the balance of light and shadow, masculine and feminine, life and spirit—connecting deeply with the ancestral traditions that have been passed down through generations.
